 Rise in European Basketball

Milojević's professional career started in the late 1990s when he joined KK Budućnost Podgorica, a prominent team in the former Yugoslavia. His skill as a powerful forward and center quickly made him a standout player. He was known for his scoring ability, rebounding, and basketball IQ, which made him a dominant force in European basketball. During his time with Budućnost, Milojević won multiple league titles and individual accolades, including the MVP of the Yugoslav League.

Achievements and Recognition

In the early 2000s, Milojević's career continued to flourish. He played for several other teams across Europe, including a stint in Spain, further showcasing his versatility and skill set. His performances did not go unnoticed, as he was often among the top players in rebounds and scoring in the leagues he competed in.

One of Milojević's most significant achievements came when he represented the Serbia and Montenegro national team. He was part of the squad that won the gold medal at EuroBasket 2001, an accomplishment that solidified his status as one of Serbia's premier basketball talents.


Transition to Coaching

After a successful playing career, Milojević retired from professional basketball in 2009. In 2012, he took over as head coach for Mega Basket (Mega Vizura at the time) in the Adriatic Basketball Association (ABA), where he would make a profound impact on the development of young players.

Most notably, he coached Nikola Jokić, who later became an NBA MVP. Milojević's reputation as a developer of talent caught the attention of the NBA, and in 2021 he joined the Golden State Warriors as an assistant coach.
